The earliest known internet reference to The Game was made in the UK on 10th August 2002 (click here for more information on the origins of The Game). A study of IP addresses on this website and Wikipedia revealed some early online losses to have occurred in the UK around 2002, and in the USA by 2004.

Since the creation of this website in 2005, we have infected over one million minds in countries throughout the world. At the start of 2010 we began a more detailed study of the global pandemic of The Game. The map above shows the locations of minds infected by this website since January 2010, with the largest red dots representing over 1000 infected minds. Between January and June 2010, LoseTheGame.com infected 240,000 minds, about half of which were recorded on the map above.

The following table below shows the top five most infected countries between January and June 2010, how much of the total population they represent, and how infectious people from each country are. This reveals Australia to be the most infected country per person, and also the most likely to infect their friends via this website. Use the links below the table to infect your friends and help make your country both the most infected and the most infectious country in the world!
